This Privacy Policy describes how ClearLine Solutions LLC, operating as CredoRev ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the CredoRev platform ("Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed). If you sign up via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Business Information: You provide your business name, industry, address, phone number, and website during onboarding. This information is used to configure your account and personalize AI responses.

Review Data: We access and store reviews from connected platforms (Google Business Profile, Yelp, Facebook) using authorized API access. This includes reviewer names, ratings, review text, and dates.

Customer Data (Phone Numbers): You may upload or collect customer contact information (names, phone numbers, emails) for the purpose of sending review request SMS messages. Phone numbers are used exclusively to send post-visit review request text messages on behalf of your business.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Generate AI-powered review response drafts
  • Send SMS review requests on your behalf (with customer consent)
  • Send you email notifications about new reviews and account activity
  • Analyze review sentiment and trends
  • Process payments via Stripe
  • Improve the Service and develop new features
  • Communicate with you about your account and updates

3. SMS Messaging Disclosure

CredoRev sends SMS review request messages to customers of local businesses. Message frequency: 1 message per visit, maximum 4 per year. Message and data rates may apply.

How to opt out: Reply STOP to any text message to opt out. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

4. Customer Phone Number Usage

Customer phone numbers and consent records collected through CredoRev's check-in forms, QR codes, or keyword text-in are stored securely and used exclusively for sending review request messages. We do not sell, share, or use customer phone numbers for any purpose other than the review request feature. We do not share customer phone numbers or data with third parties for marketing purposes. Customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party services as necessary to provide the Service:

  • Stripe: Payment processing. We do not store credit card information.
  • Anthropic (Claude AI): Review text is sent to generate response drafts and sentiment analysis. No personal customer data is sent.
  • Twilio: Phone numbers and message content for SMS delivery.
  • Resend: Email addresses for transactional emails.
  • Google, Facebook, Yelp APIs: OAuth tokens for platform access.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Our database is hosted on DigitalOcean Managed PostgreSQL with automated backups and security patches.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we retain data for 30 days to allow for recovery, then permanently delete it. Webhook logs are automatically purged after 30 days.

8. Your Rights (CCPA and Privacy Rights)

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your data
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Disconnect third-party platform integrations at any time
  • Know what personal information is collected, used, or shared
  • Request deletion of your personal information

9. TCPA Compliance

CredoRev is committed to compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). SMS messages are sent only to individuals who have provided prior express written consent. Businesses using CredoRev are responsible for obtaining and maintaining records of consent before sending any SMS messages through our platform. All messages include clear opt-out instructions.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

11. Children's Privacy

CredoRev is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
